Social Media has allowed people to engage with brands like never before. For example, a single post on Facebook can reach thousands of people if done correctly. The ability for increased reach is astounding.
In order for people to care about your message among the noise:
Your brand must be appealing. What value can you give?
Your brand must be consistent. Regular posting helps people engage. This is one of the common weaknesses businesses have when they use social media, they are not consistent with their efforts.
Your brand must not be yelling, “BUY FROM ME!” . This means no shouting messages and minimal posts about yourself. We all know how annoying these posts are and how quickly we ignore them. I follow the 80/20 rule consistently and it works tremendously well.*
